Symposium on Materials Genome Towards Exascale

Spetses, Greece. June 10-15, 2018

This symposium will bring together more than 40 global experts in the fields of computational materials science, condensed matter theory and exascale computing platforms for a five-day extensive discussion geared towards the advancement of materials modeling and high-performance computing. The symposium will take stock of the ongoing research efforts under the banner of the Materials Genome Initiative and device new strategies to leverage the upcoming quantum leap in simulation capability due to proposed exascale computing systems to advance the scope of Materials Genome Initiative and more broadly the field of computational materials science.

Structured panel discussions will also serve to establish collaborations and brainstorm about future challenges in this domain.
