Magics Workshops

The two-day workshop will consist of brief lectures and extensive hands-on exercises and practice sessions that will teach participants to perform large-scale quantum and classical atomistic simulations for the synthesis and characterization of two-dimensional materials and layered structures. The workshop will focus primarily on software and programs developed by the MAGICS center and will serve both to familiarize the wider materials community about the capabilities of these new software tools and to gain feedback from end users to further collaborative  development of scientific software. The workshop is targeted towards graduate students, postdoctoral researchers and early-career investigators in Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering and Molecular Sciences.

Further details about workshop dates, application instructions and travel and accommodation details will be updated here soon.
