About & Agenda

The second MAGICS workshop on materials science software will be held at the Radisson Hotel near USC, from 2nd - 4th March 2018.

The workshop will consist of lectures on molecular dynamics, reactive force fields, quantum molecular dynamics and application of virtual reality for visualizing materials simulations. The workshop will have hands-on tutorials on simulations of chemical reactions, thermal conductivity and Non-Adiabatic Quantum Molecular Dynamics for excited-state modeling. Graduate students, Post-docs and Early-career faculty can apply for the workshop before 05 January 2018. Accommodation for the selected applicants will be arranged at the Radisson Hotel.

Interested students and researchers can apply for the workshop through the website link here. Please complete the free Registration form by providing some details about your research interests and educational affiliation along with a two-page CV and a letter of reference from your advisor/mentor. Financial assistance for Food and Accommodation will be provided. The deadline for application is 05 January 2018.
